Julia Rivard

President & CEO

From her earliest days, Julia has always been known as, and has proven herself as, a natural leader. A graduate from both Dalhousie University and NSCADU, Julia leverages her unique experience in business, communications, and design to develop companies that are special. Julia competed in the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia as a member of the Canadian Woman’s Canoe Kayak team. She continues to stay involved in sport at a high level and works with the Canadian Olympic Committee as Team Services Officer in both Beijing 2008 and Vancouver 2010. She is the Vice Chair of Marketing for CanoeKayak Canada and sits as the Federal Appointment to the Board of the Halifax 2011 Canada Games.  Julia’s experience with Olympic level sport and her passion for technology have provided SheepDog with world class leadership.

 

Brandon Kolybaba, BBA

Co-Founder / Product Development

Brandon is a seasoned entrepreneur with 15+ years of tech start-up management experience. Having founded 6 companies over the past 20 years that span a diverse range of interests, from being a PADI Diving Instructor to establishing Canada’s first environmentally friendly hosting Company, reflects Brandon’s unique ability to draw from a wide spectrum of insight. Often called “a numbers guy”, Brandon is always looking to prove a business case or fully understand the ROI of any given scenario. Focusing on creative solutions that leverage emerging technology to solve complex business problems is the type of challenge he enjoys.  Brandon draws from his experience as an analyst in the Oil & Gas sector where his primary work involved team leadership of Business Intelligence systems. Brandon’s main focus today involves managing a team of high achieving technical folks who build software in the cloud. In his spare time, when not spending time with his family, Brandon likes to work with other entrepreneurs and their start-ups to foster growth in Atlantic Canadian business with the goal to make them competitive in the global marketplace.

 

Todd Williams, BA, CMC, ITIL

VP Deployment and Consulting Services

Todd Williams has a proven record of getting things done. He has led private and public sector organizations to successfully align their people and technology with the needs of their business. He has almost 20 years of Senior Level experience utilizing skills in leadership, negotiation, and problem solving. Following an earlier career in taxation and finance, Todd held positions of increasing responsibility for a major IT solutions company where he provided services in the fields of IT service management, and management consulting. In 2009, Todd set up his own consultancy focused on providing corporate leadership …Sheepdog was Todd’s first new client and in early 2010 Todd merged his practice to join the team. Todd earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Dalhousie University in 1989. He is the Past National Chairman of the Canadian Association of Certified Management Consultants.

 

Shawn Wilkie

Co-Founder

Today Shawn has multiple business holdings in real estate, computer retail, service management and computer accessories and repair. This entrepreneurial spirit was born while attending St. Francis Xavier Business School and was further nurtured while managing technical solutions for Suncor Inc. and Syncrude in the Alberta Oil & Gas Industry, and through his experiences while traveling the globe. His first business venture, Student Computers, was started while attending St. FX. Google invited Brandon and Shawn to Mountainview, California and made SheepDog one of  the initial groups of 20 Google Apps resellers globally in 2008. Shawn is a born leader and strategist, a passionate world traveler, and is active in the community.
