Brandon Kolybaba

CEO

Brandon is a entrepreneur with over many years of tech start-up management experience. Having founded 5 companies over the past 15 years that span a diverse range of interests, from being a PADI Diving Instructor to establishing Canada’s first environmentally friendly hosting Company, reflects Brandon’s unique ability to draw from a wide spectrum of insight. Often called “a numbers guy”, Brandon is always looking to prove a business case or fully understand the ROI of any given scenario. Focusing on creative solutions that leverage emerging technology to solve complex business problems is the type of challenge he enjoys.  Brandon draws from his experience as an analyst in the Oil & Gas sector where his primary work involved team leadership of Business Intelligence systems. Brandon’s main focus today involves managing a team of high achieving technical folks who build software in the cloud. In his spare time, when not spending time with his family, Brandon likes to work with other entrepreneurs and their start-ups to foster growth in Atlantic Canadian business with the goal to make them competitive in the global marketplace.

Mark LongMark Long

Director, Application Development

Mark Long is a tech-savvy generalist with a unique mix of skills from both business and technical domains. Though his career has been centred mostly on the business side of the equation (he has held positions in sales, account management, project management and operations within the tech sector), Mark has been passionate about technology and web development for over fifteen years. He started out building dynamic websites as a hobby in his early teens, and subsequently worked as a freelance developer and graphic artist before shifting gears to focus on his other strengths. This overlap has enabled Mark to be particularly effective in bridging the gap between engineering and the business, and is vital to his role as Director of Application Development at Sheepdog. Responsible for Sheepdog’s custom application development practice, Mark manages the company’s development team and works closely with clients and partners to design, build and maintain rich and innovative web applications. Aside from work and tech, Mark is an avid skier and home theatre enthusiast.

Ron Singer, PMP

Director, Deployment Services

Ron Singer is a certified Project Management Professional who has over 20 years’ senior level experience in business and information technology. Ron spent the first half of his career working in the local government sector in the role of Director of Finance and since 1998 has worked directly in the information technology business. Prior to joining SheepDog, Ron has been employed by leading IT consulting firms where he specialized in project management; delivering a wide range of custom application development projects, ERP, POS, CRM and BI implementations. Ron is very active in the Project Management Institute, currently appointed to the Board of Directors in the role of VP Marketing & Outreach. In addition to volunteering his time to the PMI, Ron is currently the Chairperson for Metro Works (a Halifax not for profit social enterprise program). Ron is an active sports participant and has coached minor hockey for the past 8 years.

Todd Williams, BA, CMC, ITIL

VP of Sales

Todd Williams has a proven record of getting things done. He has led private and public sector organizations to successfully align their people and technology with the needs of their business. He has almost 20 years of Senior Level experience utilizing skills in leadership, negotiation, and problem solving. Following an earlier career in taxation and finance, Todd held positions of increasing responsibility for a major IT solutions company where he provided services in the fields of IT service management, and management consulting. In 2009, Todd set up his own consultancy focused on providing corporate leadership …Sheepdog was Todd’s first new client and in early 2010 Todd merged his practice to join the team. Todd earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Dalhousie University in 1989. He is the Past National Chairman of the Canadian Association of Certified Management Consultants.
